Too Hard-Working jornaleros quest
Posted on May 30, 2020
An Obrera is worried for some Jornaleros who work at the corn fields. They work too hard, so need a break.
In this quest, it's up to you to find them. But where?
Quests in Anno 1800 are a great way to earn some extra money, reputation or items. Especially the puzzle quests, which usually revolve around finding something or someone, are worth picking up.
Just center the screen on the target area by hitting the quest and voila, just point and click.

Too Hard-Working
The Jornaleros who work at the corn field are working so hard it is becoming a threat to their health. An obrera is worried about them and has asked you to go there and reassure them that it is not only ok but required that they take a small break every once in a while.
Apparently, the jornaleros can be found near one of your farms.
Sounds easy, right?
Hiding in plain sight
Centering the screen by clicking the location arrow in the Questbook sure enough takes you to a corn field. Now, I don't know how you lay out your farms in the New World. In my case, space is always a premium and every square inch is used for fields.
So finding 3 tired jornaleros in this... Wish me luck.
I was mislead by the quest instructions. The obrero states that the jornaleros work at the corn field. Naturally I start scouring all the corn fields I can find. Plenty of jornaleros, but they all look spiffy. No one snoozing here.
The extra information is key here. "The jornaleros can be found near one of your farms."
One of your farms means it doesn't have to be a corn farm. So spread your area of search.
Come out, come out!
And, true enough, next to a cattle farm I found my tired jornaleros. Just doing what they're doing, randomly poking their rakes at some leaves, yawning until their eyes pop out.
Point, click, send them to bed.
G'night fellas!
